E:TZP Journals: May-June Report 

A new update on our project is finally ready. Keeping the community informed is a priority for us, as much as developing a title. Specifically, this blog article is covering May-June activity:

Programming 

Core Characters 

  • Character's behaviour has been improved recently. As soon as this functionality is ready to go, as well as rigs and animations, characters will be shown in action in our levels. Get ready for our clips. It is going to be fun!

Core Systems

  • This is taking a bit longer. We're building all of our systems from scratch, in a robust & scalable way. 
    Definitely our greatest challenge by far now. 

Design

Level Design 

  • Lightning of our very first biome has been completed, and dynamic spawners have been placed. 
    A nice system that will populate our rooms with danger and loot!

Dialogues

  • Simply as it sounds, dialogues are being worked on. Yeah, E:TZP will be featuring in-game dialogues!

UI/UX

  • We've done an internal redesign of the UI/UX of the interface, and it's almost ready to be implemented in-game. 
    It aims to be just… cleaner, if compared to the old prototype version. 

Main Menu 

  • This is also in development, we're building a dedicated scene just for it!. Some spoilers could be posted soon…

Art 

Characters 

  • As concerns the characters, it is color time!
    New spoilers are planned for them just as usual. Remember to follow all of our social feeds. Ah... as for the rigging, we're making big progress. 

Props

  • All props have been completed, like for the characters, some coloring is missing. Shouldn't take too long. 

Audio

  • No updates since last journal. Honestly, nothing to be worried about, the tracks have been made long time ago, just waiting for some polishing. Almost all is already there.
